A dull day
Pitter patter of rain
I stand at my secret haven
Countless choices at hand
Yet i see the same face.
There she stands,
Same as me , but with a warm smile.
Ah that comfort on a tortured mind.
With matching umbrellas we stand still.
A moment, one heartbeat,
Rush into each other arms.
Years separated us due to misunderstandings,
Now we unite as maturity ripened.
Lived as two, but we are one.
Yes, she back,
My one and only twin.
If wings could fly, i would
Life is never easy,
At every stage of life,
Broken at some point, i stood.
Tears, a precious gem,
In abundance it flowed.
Wealth never an obstacle,
Happiness, a hallucination
Like a drop of water in an endless
Becoming stronger never an option,
For it was an ultimatum in living a life.
Fallen leaves decorating the atmosphere
Coffee lay untouched ,the breeze cooling it
As season changed into different colour
So did my life ,turned into bright colour from dark black
There he lay ,
Undressing me with his eyes
Scattered clothes and things forgotten
All we focused was on each other.
Dark had turned into light.
For in falling off a tree i had stumbled onto my love of my life.
Hands THREADED together in tight prayerHe closed his eyes firmly shut
Praying was all he could do
For her to recover fast
An APPLE pie she enjoyed last
Before she begun her journey in her favorite sports car
In PENSIVE mood he remembered the time,
She declared her love in handmade PARCHMENT
Embossing it , with her childlike scrawls
“I love you daddy”, it read
Bringing tears to his eyes
A dark PASSAGE lead his princess to this state.
PROCEED WITH CAUTION read the sign
Which she dismissed with her confidence
Yellow ROPE marked the scene
Which broke his heart and for the first time made him scared
Pray was all he did,
For in GOD he believed and in his love he trusted.
LIMITING his creativity he worked inside a fixed circle
ENNUI present in him each day
Searching for COMFORT and peace , a daily chore
Freedom stuck one day,
As he sat chewing the SPOON during lunch
A thought flashed as bright as lightening,
Why cage onself when the options were limitless!
He immediately jumped up from his chair knocking it down
Danced his way to his manager’s office
Signed his resignation letter,
Drove home like a mad man
Kicked off his shoes and clothes
Changed into his favourite colour collaged attire
And drew a wonderful piece of art.
Love was yet to come in his life
But he knew when it did, it would be class apart.
