It was a bright sunny Sunday morning and I just had pancakes for breakfast. It was my birthday today. I had to go out to meet my boyfriend and it was already getting late. Just as i finished eating i heard the doorbell ring and i went to see who it was. When i opened the door noone was there. With my face all scrunched up with annoyance i was about to shut the door when i noticed the lumpy parcel with balloons along side it. Getting all excited i opened the parcel with enthusiasm of a two year old getting presents. Tears were flowing from my eyes as i had got the favourite picture of me and dad together on our backyard swing with a cute little teddy bear. I mouthed out loud the words, ” I miss you dad.” Instantly i heard a reply in my dad’s voice, “I miss you too my angel.” Shocked i turned around to see my boyfriend emerging from behind a tree. I rushed to hug him. He said, ” Happy bday my love!! I cannot give you back your dad but me being a ventriloquist, I can just give you his voice. Hope you are happy with that love!! ” All i could manage was a sob and a hug and feel loved and content in the arms of my loved one.
A writer’s pickup lines..well maybe…😜😜
“You are the ink to my paper where your words touches my heart each time you say something to me.”
” You are the words behind my masterpieces which form the soul of my expression.”
P.s… Just my version of pickup lines by a writer. Not really been used i think 😂😂
The alchemy of her heart was as complex as her chemical mixing for she had never been touched in spirit and in body.
Love reaction was waiting to happen as she longed for her perfect match to shatter her stillness of heart.
Even in coldness he kept her warm, in darkness gave her light. Years had flown since he passed away. She had cried, stayed silent , got angry and finally now got peace. Final goodbyes were hard but now she was ready to move on and she hugged his memories one final time before she made peace with life.
The threaded parchment lay before her staring at her with heart wrenching truths. Her past had always been worthy of fantasies and magical spells but to actually read about her childhood stories and her Special powers which she always possessed was a terrifying thought.
Munching on an apple she kept staring at the parchment. Apples had never been her favourite but apparently she had to have it everyday to keep herself alive. Weird as it sounded she had been taking it for as long as she could start biting and eating food.
Carefully surveying her surrounding before opening the parchment she satisfied herself that she was alone. Reading about herself with utmost concentration her eyes stopped in the passage containing about her soulbinding to fellow spell caster.
Soul binding was a process done when spell casters were in tender age in order for them to bond and join with the person best suited to their talents and skill.
It was funny how life turned out for she had found her soul bound person on her own and now she understood why she felt a strong connection with him.
In a pensive mood she proceeded to read on about her ‘other’ unknown powers. Time flew by and it was already dusk before she closed the parchment with a golden rope which emphasised its value.
Collecting her things and finishing up her remaining cold coffee she got up from her seat with a satisfied stomach and answers for many questions which were a mystery till this point.
She got into her car and proceeded towards one constant thing which was her home. Ignoring the ‘PROCEED WITH CAUTION’ sign she drove towards the unfinished bridge. At its end she halted and extended her hand towards an invisible object and pressed the button.
The car along with her in it was absorbed into the road and she was lowered slowly onto the platform which lead to her car garage.
As she parked and entered the door her husband and son stood waiting with anxious faces.
“All is good”, she smiled and scooped her son in her arms and pecked a kiss on her husband’s lips.
She watched him go from the window to battlefield. ..
He turned blew her kiss giving hope..
For every breathe she exhaled he gave her a new breathe in form of a passionate kiss 💋💋
As she abandoned her clothes , she abandoned her fear.
Breaking down her walls she let him enter her world and body.
A tormented body and soul in the past, she had healed slowly.
Love glued her broken heart and body piece by piece.
And now she lay with a naked soul and body in front of him with love filled heart and eyes , waiting patiently to start LIVING once again.
“Lights, camera, action”, screamed the director who was impatient with the way things were going.
“Come on people i dont have the whole day to complete this shot. Move your asses and get it done soon..”
Meghna knew the director was not in his best of moods and so she decided to ask her request for half a day’s off tomorrow. This was her golden opportunity for doing an AD and she didnt want to screw this up.
As she proceeded to do the shot once more with all the concentration that she could muster, she got distracted with a cute kid trying to push through the crowd to see the shooting that was going on.
She stood like a statute smiling at the small girl’s antics when she saw a disheveled man hurrying to pull the small girl to safety from the ‘big’ people as he referred to them.
Even though the guy was in ragged clothes he had a very handsome face with a beautiful pair of eyes.
The fun time of ‘sighting’ for Meghna ended as fast as it began as the director started screaming at her to finish the shot soon.
As the AD shoot finally got over, she made her way towards the duo to find out that cute gal’s and probably the handsome guy’s name too. The distance was not too great to reach them but as she neared them she was shocked to find that they guy was actually her ex- boyfriend.
Surprised that he had a kid this big she neared him slowly.
He turned his face sensing that someone was nearing them and his tired face started brightening seeing her walk towards them.
“Hi Sanjay. Been long. What have you been upto?”
“Hi Meghna. Yes, been very long. Well my life has been a big roller coaster ride.”
“Am surprised you have such a big kid. Is she yours?”
“Well yes Meghna, this beautiful angel is mine😊”
“Woww Sanjay never knew you got married!! Congrats!”
“No i didnt get married Meghna. I found this angel dumped in a dustbin in noman’s land and not having the heart to leave her there I brought her home along with me, thinking i will find her a new home but then i started getting attached to her more and more and now i have officially become her dad!”
Meghna was speechless for a moment. She knew it required a huge heart to do something selfless as this. She started thinking if she judged him too soon for the things that happened with them.
“Woww Sanjay! That is such a selfless act that you have done. Do you want to go for a coffee maybe? Lets catch up on whats going on now.”
“Sure Meghna! It would be my pleasure!” Smiled Sanjay.
Meghna beamed at the thought of talking to her one true love whom she thought she had found before the breakup happened.
Most of her life had been a series of “LIGHTS, CAMERA , ACTION” but now she wanted to live a life behind the camera without any acting and get to live her life the way her heart takes her instead of following what the director tells her.
